As you know, we are opening a new space at 2452 Central Avenue in the heart of the Grand Central District in downtown Saint Petersburg. We are in need of some materials in order to make the space usable.
We have volunteers on stand-by to build/install/paint once we have the materials.

OK. That was for the walls and bathroom floor.
The other big expense we are facing is the flooring. We need one of the following: 1700 Sq Ft. Wood Laminate so that entire space will be the same OR 750 Sq. Ft. Wood Laminate for the front area of the space. If we did this, we would paint/stain the back half of the space.
Of course, we’d love if this were donated in full but if we could get it at cost or partially funded OR sponsored, that would be great as well. We estimate the cost for the whole 1800 sq ft to be about $3,000 and for just the front area, it would be about $1,200.
Adam Borgman, President of the Junior Enlisted Advisory Council at MacDill Air Force Base, has accompanied me to several home improvement stores where we have asked for these items to be donated.
At this time, we are waiting for answers. It is likely we will get some of these items donated but unlikely we will get them all donated.
I realized I never just put the ask out to the general public and thought it would be a good idea to put it out there.
After all, if we don’t ask, we won’t know.

We do have sponsorship packages available for corporate or individual sponsors and are happy to discuss and develop a custom package for anyone who might want to donate money in order for us to buy whatever is not donated.
